Jason St. Clair, co-founder of 121 Disposal Company, describes his business as a "small company with a large footprint", serving customers in Alabama, Georgia, and surrounding locations. 121 Disposal provides a total solution when it comes to waste and recycling. Based in Auburn, Ala., 121 Disposal can service everyone from a single household to Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive industry to other businesses and restaurants. They pick up any and all trash plus recycle materials such as plastic, metal, and cardboard.

St. Clair has a professional background in real estate and project management. He never imagined being in the waste industry. But he says there's never a dull moment and has had the most fun since the business formed in 2019.

The name 121 Disposal has an interesting origin. St. Clair said the name actually came from the Bible.

The Book of James 1:21 reads, "Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls."

And that's why "121" was used in the company name.

Working with Four Star Freightliner's Government, Utility, and Refuse (GUR) team members Truman Ingram and Billy Spivey, 121 Disposal has been a customer for the past couple of years.

"The entire shop, parts department, and managers have all been amazing to us," said St. Clair. "Being a smaller company, it takes a special commitment and partnership to even have an opportunity to succeed against the larger competitors. They understand the sense of urgency around our space and how dependent we are on their service, just as our customers are from 121."

St. Clair describes the relationship his company has with Four Star Freightliner as second to none.

"Communication is key in any partnership," said St. Clair. "They above and beyond in this area. We couldn’t do it without them."
