Georgiana Welcomes Four Star Freightliner with Community Ribbon Cutting
Four Star Freightliner proudly marked a major milestone on May 12 with the ribbon cutting ceremony for its eighth dealership located in Georgiana, Alabama. The full-service facility, officially opened on April 1, is located just off I-65 at 200 Industrial Park Drive, making it a convenient stop for medium- and heavy-duty truck drivers traveling through Alabama.
The new Georgiana location offers a full suite of services, including truck repairs, routine maintenance, and access to an extensive parts inventory. As Four Star’s fourth location in Alabama, the expansion reinforces the company’s commitment to providing fast, reliable service to the trucking industry throughout the Southeast.
The ribbon cutting ceremony drew a strong show of support from local leaders and community members. In attendance were Georgiana Mayor Franklin Betterton, Greenville Mayor Dexter McLendon, David Hutchinson, Economic Development Director for Butler County, Thaddeus Douglas, field representative for Congressman Shomari C. Figures, and several city council members. Four Star employees, community supporters, and family members also came out to celebrate the opening and show their support for the growing business.
Dealer Principal Jerry Kocan expressed pride in the team leading the new location, saying, “I’m so very proud of Chris White and Durrell McKinnon, who have been with us for many years at the Montgomery location and who will now lead the Georgiana location. The people of Georgiana and Greenville have been fantastic and we’re very excited to be here.”
With a reputation for exceptional service, quick turnaround times, and deep community ties, Four Star Freightliner’s new Georgiana dealership is well-positioned to serve truckers and fleets throughout Butler County and beyond.
