Four Star Freightliner Honors Top Performers at Annual Employee Celebration
At Four Star Freightliner, our people are the driving force behind our success. Each year, we take the time to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and outstanding achievements of our team, and this year’s employee celebration at the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort on Dec. 13 was no different. Team members from all locations came together for a night of fun, appreciation, and recognition.
Among the highlights of the evening were the prestigious awards that honor those who go above and beyond:
Top Gun Salesman of the Year
This year, the title of Top Gun Salesman of the Year was shared in a tie between Billy Spivey, our Government, Utility, and Refuse Account Manager, and Justin Lightsey, Truck Account Manager at our Valdosta location. Billy, who won this award last year, continues to set the standard for sales excellence, while Justin’s outstanding performance earned him a well-deserved spot among the very best.
Top Technicians
Our top revenue-producing technicians were recognized for their skill, dedication, and exceptional service. But top technician honors went to Thomas McCrary, Jr. from our Valdosta location. Our talented technicians consistently demonstrate their commitment to keeping our customers’ operations running smoothly.
Luminary Awards
The Luminary Awards honor employees whose contributions shine brightly in the company, embodying Four Star’s commitment to excellence. Just like stars lighting the night sky, these individuals guide and inspire those around them, reflecting the values at the heart of our organization.

- The "Legacy Star Award" - For Years of Dedication and Service, Cynthia Mathews, Dothan Service Manager
Top Service Department
Our Dothan location, led by Service Manager Cindy Mathews, earned the Top Service Department award thanks to the most year-over-year growth among all service teams. Cindy and her team’s dedication and teamwork set the standard for service excellence across the company.
Top Parts Department
The Valdosta location, led by Terri Felkins, was recognized as the Top Parts Department. With the highest year-over-year growth among all locations, Terri and her team exemplify hard work, efficiency, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Location of the Year
Finally, our Montgomery, Ala. location earned the 2025 Location of the Year award, leading all locations in net profit growth. With just over 40 dedicated employees across sales, parts, and service, the Montgomery team’s collaborative spirit and tireless effort made this achievement possible.
The night was more than an awards ceremony. It was a celebration of teamwork, excellence, and the people who make Four Star Freightliner a leader in the industry. From dinner and dancing to recognizing the best of the best, it was a night filled with fun, laughter, and appreciation for all our incredible team members.
